Frequently asked

Questions we get asked a lot.

No sales language, no hedging. If something you need to know is missing here, email us and we will answer it directly, then add it to this page.

Working with us

We design, build and run software. Six disciplines under one roof: design, engineering, cloud, security, AI and growth. In practice that means websites and web apps, internal tools and APIs, the infrastructure they run on, and the security work that keeps them standing.

We are based in Surat, Gujarat, and work with clients worldwide. Keeping all six disciplines in one team is what stops work getting thrown over a wall.

The people doing the work. We are a small team by choice, so there is no account manager relaying your question to an engineer and relaying an answer back three days later.

You will talk to the designer and the developer on your project directly, from the first call through to launch.

Both. What matters more than your size is whether someone on your side can make decisions. A two person startup with a founder who answers the same day moves faster than a large company where every choice needs four approvals.

For early stage work we will usually push you to build less than you planned, so you can put something real in front of users sooner.

A shared channel on whatever you already use, so questions get answered in hours rather than waiting for a weekly call. A short written update at the end of each week covering what moved, what is next, and anything blocked on your side.

You also get access to the work as it happens rather than a reveal at the end. Seeing something half built is the point, not a risk.

Scope and services

With a conversation, not a form. You tell us what you are trying to build and what is in the way, we ask the questions that tend to change the estimate, and you get a written scope back with what we would do, in what order, and what it costs.

Nothing starts until that document is agreed. You are free to take it elsewhere.

Yes. Taking over an existing codebase is normal work for us, whether that is fixing what is broken, adding features, or untangling something built quickly that now needs to scale. The same applies to security work on a product we did not build.

We will usually ask for read access to the repository before quoting, because the state of the code changes the estimate more than the size of the feature list does.

We are not religious about the stack. Most of our work sits in the mainstream of web and cloud tooling, and we pick per project based on what you already run, what your team can maintain, and what the problem actually needs.

If you have an in-house team, their familiarity matters more than our preference. A codebase nobody on your side can maintain is a liability, however elegant it is.

Yes, and the first hour matters. Contain before you investigate: take the affected system off the network, rotate credentials and API keys, and preserve the logs rather than wiping and reinstalling, because the logs are how you find out what happened.

In India, financial fraud should be reported at cybercrime.gov.in or on the 1930 helpline straight away, since speed materially affects whether funds can be recovered. Get in touch and we will work through containment with you.

Cost and timelines

It depends on scope, and any number quoted before understanding the scope is a guess dressed up as a price. What we can promise is that the number you get is fixed against a written scope, so it does not move unless the scope does.

Tell us what you are building and roughly what you have to spend. If the two do not meet, we will say so early rather than three weeks in.

A focused marketing site is usually a matter of weeks. A product with accounts, data and integrations is usually a matter of months. The scope document includes dated milestones rather than a single end date, so you can see movement from the first week.

The two things that most often slow a project down are late content and late feedback, so we agree who owns both before starting.

After launch

Launch is a milestone, not an ending. We hand over the code, the accounts and the documentation, and we stay available for fixes.

Ongoing work, whether that is maintenance, new features or infrastructure support, is agreed separately so you are never paying a retainer for a month in which nothing was needed.

You do. Code, design files and accounts transfer to you once the project is paid in full, and it is written into the agreement rather than left implied.

We do not hold repositories, domains or hosting hostage. If you ever want to move on, everything needed to do that is already yours.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. We would rather answer it than have you guess.
